Google Classroom
We provide many Home Learning opportunities and information for children, parents and carers through the use of Google Classroom via their Year Group Home Learning Page. Children will be provided with login details and the required classroom code in order to access this. Staff will set up their Year Group Home Learning Page in line with our agreed consistencies and will include:
- Year group specific information for parents, carers and children
- Home Learning BINGO grids
- Year group specific learning resources e.g. xtables, phonics
- A weekly task for children to engage with at home
What is Google Classroom?
Google Classroom is a free and easy tool used to help educators efficiently deliver teaching and learning opportunities, while enhancing connections with learners from school, from home, or on the go. You can click here to visit the Google Classroom website.
Your child will have been provided with their Google Classroom login details. These can be found within the Learning Diary. Each child will have access to their ‘Year Group Home Learning’ classroom. All children have engaged with a computing lesson in school whereby they have been taught how to access this resource.
